CamBands review and Giveaway! Three winners.

his giveaway is closed!  Thanks for participating!

I have become more of a minimalist.  I like that I have a few things I grab when heading out the door to run.  I like to have my cell phone with me and I keep my Road ID on always.  I wear my SpiBelt to carry my camera and I of course have some clothes on although I do prefer to run in just a sports bra and skirt on most days. I also have a headband.
Of course 9 times out of 10 I don't even wear shoes but I think you knew that!
I used to have short hair but now that it is growing out I have to have those loose unruly fly away hairs pulled back out of my face. Oh or on those humid summer days when its more like swimming and your hair plasters to the side of your sweaty face....ugh.
It is a real irritation to have my Zen focus interrupted by that hair in my eye or tickling my nose.  So I set out to find some headbands and they have now become part of my necessary few things that make up my running gear.
I started looking on Etsy and found CamBands

The wonderful Jenny sent me 4 CamBands to try out!

Simply put,  Cambands are fantastic!  The colors, the fit, the price.  CamBands are priced at $6. each which is totally reasonable and I would even say she might be underselling considering how well they are made and what nice materials she uses.

They have a smaller elastic section that goes in the back and then the patterned fabric backed with a velvet material to keep the band from slipping. They stay in place very well and I forget that I have one on.

They come in many different colors and she offers two different widths as well.  I have the Blue Sparkle, Wheels of Flowers, a blue polka dot and the Asian Zing band.  I love all of them!  I wear the Blue Sparkle to work since it matches my nuun shirt and my favorite is the one in the picture above with the bright blue colors.

Asian Zing goes with all of my clothes that are not blue and I like the different textures to the fabric. Some are silky and others are textured more like ribbon.  CamBands are named after Jenny's daughter Camryn and after family and friends started asking her to make bands for them her Etsy site was born!

These headbands are well worth the money and did I mention how generous Jenny has been!!   She offered to give three of you a CamBand of your choice!

Here are the links to both her Etsy shop and her Facebook page.

In order to enter this giveaway do one or all of the following and leave a comment here  for each thing that you do.
  • go to her shop and pick which band you would like if you won.
  • Like her Facebook page
  • Blog about this giveaway, twitter, facebook status, ect.  you get an entry for each that you do, just make sure and leave a comment for each.

3 winners get to pick the band of their choice! Guys, you can enter too and the gals in your life would love it if you won this for them.  Excellent brownie points!! And if you have that long shaggy hair (which I love by the way), by all means I bet there is a style that would work for you too.  Why not. Wear a kilt, a headband and know real comfort!*
This giveaway will run until Tuesday October 5th and I will announce the winner on the 6th.
 Happy running friends!

* You fellas will someday learn that wearing some of womens styles (high heels not included in the clever styles even though some of them look cool) are practical and embrace comfort.  If you need an example, refer to the below video.
I love Jeff Albertson AKA Comic Book Guy.
