Mantis attack, bottle tree, go towards the light.

Three, no four Things Thursday.
Running in altoona has yet to disappoint.
Look at the tail hook.
The bottle tree is in the same garden as the Ginormous Mantis.
Eleven miles with the hubs.
He put a stip of duct tape on his sock at the forefoot and heel.  He didn't wear through! Clever man he is.
We have come across three pedestrian tunnels so far in Altoona along the trails.
Run towards the light....

"He put a stip of duct tape on his sock at the forefoot and heel." That's my style of minimal shoes!

What a fun place to run! It sure makes the time go by quicker when you've got good scenery! Love that bottle tree!

Oh, and I keep wondering how much longer my socks are going to hold out. I'll remember the duct tape trick!

We had a tunnel like that down the state park where our cross country team practiced. You know we had to hoot and holler when we ran through it because of the echo!

Love, love, love that mantis! I think I would run a few circles around it just to get a good look. Very cool. Funny, I learn something new about duct tape all the time. It's good for almost anything, ha ha. Have a great week!

I like the shot in the tunnel and I love that mantis. I remember this summer I found a mantis in serious danger in the middle of the road; when I tried to rescue her (yes she was a female) she bit my finger!!!! Women....
