FIsh Pose Day 2 of Humble Beginnings Yoga January challenge

"Waking up this morning, I smile. Twenty four brand new hours are before me.  I vow to live fully in each moment and to look at all beings with eyes of compassion."
~Thich Nhat Hanh~

Today is Day 2 of the Humble Beginnings Yoga  January challenge.  Matsyasana or
Fish Pose opens the heart which lends itself well to the intention of compassion.

Today I made the intention to think before I act upon my emotions.  To think of others and their perspective first.

To the person driving like a maniac I am sorry you are stressed and hope you get where you are going safely and your stress is eased.

To my children, its ok to air your grievances while  you are doing the very unfair tasks I ask of you and you don't know it but I did not get up and holler at you to be quiet when you were giggling together, which was adorable,  when you were supposed to be working to fall asleep my little night owls :)  When you come in and want to participate in my yoga, I am so glad you are there bugging me!

Interesting now that I think of it that Archimedes wants in on the strong standing balance poses and Milo wants in on inversions.

To my superhero, I will work at making this relationship take care of both of us as I know you work to do the same including accepting all of you including the very human disgusting parts hahaha!  I will listen to you  and make you feel heard.

I smiled at my fellow human beings today and sent out thoughts of peace and happiness.  This life we live is hard but there is much beauty and I hope that you are blessed to see it.  Through taking care of you, I am taking care of me.

Cheers,
Angie Bee
