Nuu-Muu exercise dresses

The awesome ladies at Nuu Muu exercise dresses sent me a Tango dress to try out.
I was a little nervous to wear it at first since its quite short however I found some turquoise boy short undies to wear and they match the cute blue trim on the black dress.  I have yet to try running in it but I think I am going to love it. I have been wearing it all day today and it has quickly become one of my favorite outfits.  Its about the same length as a running skirt.
It is sexy! I think that it would make a great cover up for a swimsuit and will be awesome with tights underneath this winter.  So many layering possibilities. The fabric is stretchy and easy to move in.
The sizing chart was accurate for me and I love the names of the sizes!
Here are Nuu-Muu's philosophies that make it so easy to want to support this company.

Girl Power - We believe in strong girls and women. We believe in real people, real bodies and real friends. We believe in trying really hard. We believe that moments of truth can be extended to lifetimes of truth. We believe in having fun along the way. We believe that you can too.
Green Living - We believe in riding bikes. We believe in recycled and recyclable packaging and tags. We believe less is more. We believe in hand-me-downs.
Made in the USA - We believe in limiting our carbon imprint. We believe in supporting our national economy. We believe in high quality. Every single Nuu-Muu is made in the United States in small batches so you can feel as good on the inside as your Nuu-Muu feels on you.
Giving Back - Nuu-Muu is proud to support non-profit organizations dedicated to the health and wellbeing of women and girls, including » Komen for the Cure Boise and
» Girls on the Run Idaho, a non-profit prevention program that encourages preteen girls to develop self-respect and healthy lifestyles through running and service.

I love that I can wear this dress to the Fine Art Show today and feel sexy, prepare a bunch of food at home and then take off on a run later this evening all looking good while doing it.  I had a hard time deciding between the Bluebelle style and the Tango. Such a tough decision!
*below is from the website*
Nuu-Muu began a bit by accident. One sunny October day, founder Christine Nienstedt ran a half-marathon wearing an old polyester dress, missing her best time by 14 minutes but smiling her way across the finish line. Fellow runners and spectators commented lavishly on her attire, wondering where they could find one. After a little post-race sleuthing, Christine found the world had a disturbing lack of whimsical exercise wear. She haphazardly Googled her way from there to business ownership, with the gracious support of many wise and patient friends.
Enter Ashley Fullenwider, one of said "wise and patient friends" and, appropriately, the first person Christine ever saw wearing a dress on a bike. Ashley became a co-owner of Nuu-Muu in 2008, merely making official her ongoing support of and delight in the business of Nuu-Muu. Her husband Matt was the next to sign on, sick of simply watching all the fun from the sidelines.
Ashley and Christine have been friends for 12 years. They have biked many miles together over quite a few daunting mountain passes, often in dresses, and absolutely always in search of the perfect meal. (They have found quite a few.)
Christine lives in Boise, Idaho with her husband Drew and their two delightful daughters. Her favorite pastimes are running in the Boise foothills, river trips in the family raft, and biking anywhere near a winery.
Ashley lives in Bellingham, Washington with her husband Matt and teenage (!) daughter. She plays Ultimate frisbee and loves to ride her zippy, trusted steed, Zelda.
I love when fantastic ideas come forth from necessity and it makes it even more fabulous when its a creative and sexy idea!  Everyone wants to look good when we sweat and better yet we want to look good all the time yet with many of us being mothers and living very busy lives, maintaining a wardrobe or the time to even change clothes in the morning is difficult.  I am really pleased to have been given the opportunity to try one of these fab dresses!
***I was given a dress for free to try out. The opinions of this dress are my own***

I'm not sure exactly if it was this review or an interview by Caity McCardell that inspired me to get a Ruu-Muu, so I thought I'd thank you both for pointing me toward Nuu-Muu! :)
