Tougas Family Appalachian Trail Thru-Hike Adventure

  I have known Damien Tougas as an online friend for a couple of years now.  I have worked with him on reviews for his site ToeSalad.com.  I feel a connection with his family as they are homeschoolers as well.

  This spring, they are undertaking a huge adventure  as they thru-hike the Appalachian trail....together....as a family....wow!!  They have three children and will be homeschooling, hiking, living, eating, and being together as they travel 2000 miles from Georgia to Maine.

  I am so curious!  How will they stand each other?  What happens if one is sick or tired?  That is lots of pooping in the woods!
