I found some running passion! Please help support Jupiter and Easter Seals!

The idea of running for a charity is an excellent one in my opinion. Finding a charity that gives you that boost of passion is not always so easy.
I have an eight year old son with autism.  There are fantastic organizations out there that I would love to support however they don't really  effect him directly so even though they support research and advocacy of autism I don't feel a passion about it the way that I do about Easter Seals.
Jupiter and momma!
Every summer Jupiter goes to Camp Sunnyside that is part of the Easter Seals organization. It is a fantastic day camp that runs all summer long. He gets to swim, play by the lake, be around and play with peers, enjoy the sensory activities, and he is loved there.  The staff love him and it shows.  He is greeted with hugs and kisses every day!  He also goes twice a month during the school year to respite camp weekends.  He gets to stay over night at camp for the weekend and enjoy activities all year round.  Did I mention he LOVES camp!!  The awesome chef Matthew even caters to Jupiter's special dietary needs. I know that when Jupie is at camp he is well taken care of.
So, I found my charity to run for. I am going to run the 5k for my son Jupiter at the Easter Seals Walk with Me Central Iowa walk and 5k run. Its not a big event but its a family event.  It is something that will directly go towards making my son happy and that I can get behind with my whole heart!

Here is the link to our page. If you are in the area please come and join us for the walk or run. To participate, the event is free. If you donate $25 you get a t-shirt.
You can join Team Jupiter's Olympians and if you have the means please sponsor Jupiter by donating through the link on our page.  The donation button is directly under out photo and you can choose any amount to give. Every little bit helps!

I think it's awesome that you've found such a wonderful resource for Jupiter and that you are raising money for it.

I've wanted to choose a charity, but there are so many out there and I've yet to find the ONE that I'm willing to commit that kind of energy to. I'm in awe of those of you who do this kind of fundraising.
